Most web shops put you on a subscription — hosting fees, “platform” fees, maintenance retainers that bill every month whether you need anything or not. I don't work that way. Here's why your site costs nothing to keep online:
Free hosting, for good
Your site is static — fast HTML, CSS, and images that Netlify's free tier serves at no cost. No usage meter, no surprise bills.
Nothing to maintain
No database and no server means nothing to patch, renew, or pay for behind the scenes. It just keeps running.
The accounts are yours
The GitHub repo and Netlify project are in your name. There's no middleman subscription sitting between you and your own website.
Pay only to change it
When you want updates, you pay by the hour for the time it takes — and nothing in between. Never a monthly fee.
